Post EE Profile submission

Hi,

I have 2 questions:

Can one get Medical Exam and PCC done from India while visiting India?
I am an Indian citizen living in the US as a non-immigrant with EE profile ready to be submitted in the pool.

I am married and my spouse in not going to be accompanying me to Canada.
Does he have to get the Medical done from the same place I do?
