Hi guys.
Got my PR confirmation yesterday and I am happy as can be that is until I read it and saw that my COR (country of residence) is my citizenship country not canada where I am currently living. My wifes is right but mine is not.
We are planning to go to the border tomorrow but do not know if it will be an issue or not.

Anyone come across this before?? Something to worry about?

It shouldn't be Canada, if for example you were a British Citizen, residing in the US, it would say US as COR, in your case you aren't a resident of Canada, you have visitor status.

But to my understanding if I live and work in canada on a work permit then I am a temporary resident. Hence cor should be canada. Anyhow I went and got it done. No issues. Thank you for the time

hello guys,

I am just a little bit concerned here. in my COPR, my COR is Malaysia since I processed my application in Malaysia while residing there as a Foreign Worker. Now I already resigned and went back to Philippines. Will there be any issue if I land to Canada whereby I departed from the Philippines?

Thanks!!
