I applied for Non-Express Entry PR a month ago. The few days before I submitted the application, I was assessed by a Psychologist and he told me that his diagnosis of my conditions would be PTSD and moderate depression (as a result of a Car Accident). I am still able to work full-time without issues and was able to graduate from University with excellent grades. I take psychotherapy sessions but no medication as of now or have never taken historically. Also, I don't have any other medical history, with exception of the above mentioned which happened after moving to Canada.

I answered "No" to the question asking about "serious disease or physical or mental disorder" as I thought it talks about disorders like schizophrenia or extreme depression with people who have attempted suicide or tried to harm someone. Please comment on this. Thank you

IMO best option would be send a new updated form and answer correctly and upload through webform. There will be zero impact on your application if you answer YES. So better send it asap.

I talked to the doctor after the assessment, about the question on immigration form, and he told me that I have symptoms of PTSD but it does not affect my life as I was able to carry on with work, school, etc... So, he said that you can mark "no" but later on he also said that a more accurate answer will be "yes" and write an explanation that it does not affect my life in any way as I was able to complete school and work full-time, but he was not sure as he did not have any idea about IRCC. Later, I told an Immigration consultant at University, what the doctor had told me and they replied that it's upto me but said that to them, it does not seem like a serious problem due to the same reasons the doctor mentioned. They also told me that if I answer "yes" then I will have to provide documentation about it and everything.

Well I don’t think so it will affect your application. Remember every time you visit doctor, it goes on your health record. Answering YES will not have any negative impact but if they found out then you will be in trouble. I would say just answer yes and attach letter of explanation and send form through Webform .
