I have got Bcom (2 yrs) , MA Economics 2 years, plus ACCA, what should i expect my MA to be equivalent in Canada ? are there chances that i may get it equivalent to masters ? I understand my ACCA would be equal to a bachelor.

if anybody could share their analysis and judgement it will be highly appreciated.

Possible ECA Evaluations:

BCom - Bachelors (2 years)

MA Econcomics - Masters Degree

ACCA - Bachelors Degree

This is based on some of the other replies I have seen forum members give. the only way to really know is to send it to WES or another institution that issues ECA's.

Thanks for ur prompt reply, i have sent my documents to WES for evaluation lets see what comes out !! i am really counting on my Masters degree if they give it masters equivalency then my score will cross 400 and will be able to apply for ontario pnp.

There is no 2 years bachelor. 3 years is the minimum.

It would looke like following:

Bcom+MA = 4 years bachelors, where they would treate Bcom h as 2 years secondy diploma but for MA they would say it has been assssed in combination with Bcom, hence 4 years bachelors degree

ACCA = 3 years bachelors
