I think there is a possibility that OINP will change their ITA criteria for 2017. In 2016, Ontario issued about 2700 ITAs for human capital priorities stream. The qualification criteria was 400 CRS points.
This year due to the high cutoff scores for EE, the number of people having 400+ CRS will be definitely more than 2700. I think OINP would come up additional criteria to limit the number of applicants.
They may either increase the cutoff score, publish a list of NOCs that can apply or make it open only for people with job offer from Ontario. I think it is not going to be as easy as last year. Lets wait and see.
