I am pursuing Master of Engineering degree (2 Years program )at University of Alberta starting January 2019. Currently I am in my 3rd semester of my education which is ideally my final semester. As my course includes completion of Capstone project in my final semester I enrolled for capstone project as well estimating to complete by April 30, 2020. But, due to COVID-19 situation I didn't get enough chance to meet my supervisor and get help to complete my project. I requested my supervisor and got approval to extend capstone project to one more semester which is scheduled to complete by August 2020.
Now , as I am only extending capstone project which is enrolled in Winter 2020 Term(Jan-April 2020) I was not asked to pay any fee again or any separate enrollment required by the university for the period of extension (April to August 2020).
In this period of April to August,
1. Can I work part-time or full time ?
2. If I complete my course in August will I get 3 Years work permit ?
