Political science to agricultural management, is it possible?

I am already a graduate of Political Science. I am planning to study for agricultural management in canada. We have a small farmland here in the Philippines. I am planning to take charge of our small farm so I would be able to expand. I also don’t have any work experience. Is this possible?

The visa officer will wonder about your sudden change of academic path. You'll need to explain that, along with why you can't take any farmland management courses closer to the Philippines.
