I have PCC, but it is 3.5 months old. Can I send it along application?

yes its valid for a year afaik. worst case scenario they will ask you for another one

I am confused... Two sources here:

1. One says not more than 3 months old

There are 2 separate points. Your PCC:

1. Must not be dated more than 3 months before the date of the application.

2. Must not be dated more than 12 months from the date the IO assesses it.

If you provide your PCC AFTER the application has already been sent, you only need to worry about number 2, and if CIC has asked you to send it in you can reasonably assume they will look at it in the next 12 months.

Hi,
When you submit PCC it can't be more than 3 months old and after submission it is valid for 12 months. As per my understanding 3.5 months old is not acceptable. Any time you submit PCC it can't be more than 3 months old.

Thanks for clearing this up for me. In my case the police clearance is dated Feb 18th anc application filing date is May 17th; will it be acceptable if I file applocation with in 3 months; regardless of when they open it?
