POLICE CLEARANCE USA UNABLE TO GET-URGENT!!!!!!

Hi,

My name is jd. We had applied for police clearance from fbi USA on 19th nov. 2009 but we still dont have any reply from them. I have rest of the docs. ready. Can someone please tell us how long should we wait. We have already sent out another application on 14th Jan. 2010 to fbi USA but still no reply from them. We have called them couple of times but they have say ur names is still not in the database. My 120 days period ends on March 9th 2010.
Can we submit with the rest of the docs. and go ahead or should we wait?????
Please advise.

Sure you can, and you have to submit the application with the full documents to the visa office before the expiry date of your 120 days. You have to send them an explanation letter about your FBI certificate along with your documents and as soon as you receive it, send it to them.

They will accept your application for the completeness without the police clearance, and they will start processing it in the future if eligible without the police clearance and in a certain point, they will ask you to submit the police clearance that you have not submitted.

You got an excellent answer from Professional1.

Wait till end of Feb for FBI cleranace and then send your application with out it ( If you do not get it till then) explaining the situation. You can attach a proof of sending the application to FBI

Also it is taking time to get Clearance from FBI. See the thread
