Police Clearance for Online application needed?

Hi,

In the checklist generated for online student application, there is no mention of Police Clearance Certificate to be uploaded. Is this no longer a requirement for visa? Or do we still need PC for every country we've lived in for>6 mths?

Anybody got visa without PCC?

one forum member whom i know has got without PCC. just upload the the docs which are asked.

I applied online 2 months (Japan) ago and the software didn't generate any Police Clearance at the time of submission. Later, after my medical was approved, they asked for police clearances. Previously, I 've lived in 4 countries before, so they asked me to furnish clearances for India, Singapore, Canada and Japan. I am still awaiting my Singapore police clearance. Hope that helps.

no...they don't ask for pcc for sp...
I lived in uk for 5 yrs n I got visa widout pcc...
so relax!

Pls with the 2 practical situation it is apparent that it is at the descretion of the VO, do not include if not ask, then if at VO descretion it is needed it will be requesed.

You don't need a PCC for SP. I got mine without a PCC.
