Hiiii Guys please help me.....

I have my passport issued at my permanent address which is in Khanna, Punjab.


Now, from the past 3 years I have been living in Zirakpur, Punjab. Now I have to get my PCC done and I am confused whether I should apply at my permanent address or at present address.


Please help me guys….

AFAIK you only need one PCC from India and the best place to get it is from Passport Service Kendra (PSK) KIOSK provided at various passport offices

Is it valid to get it from psk ? As Cic clearly mentioned resident

My spouse applied for PCC from passport seva kendra where her passport address is. She lived in a different town. But for this, she traveled to her home town and went to respective PSK for applying PCC. She received that soon, which means directly from PSK.
I am not sure whether you could apply from different PSK. But when we inquired, people suggested us to go to the permanent address location, as we did not had any address proof for the present address.

PCC from PSK is vaild. You might have seen some threads here stated that PCC from local police station(in India) was not accepted by CIC.
It is better to fix appointment at the PSK correspondent to the address in the passport. You can get PCC very soon
