What kind of records are taken into consideration while issuing the police clearance certificate...Do they also check the traffic fines....Or red light jump sort of things.??? As in delhi the driving license is seized for 3 months if a red light is jumped. It happened with me once and my driving license was seized for a quarter. Or do they check other criminal records?

They check mostly for criminal activity. They want to know if you were ever arrested, had a warrant issued or a FIR was lodges against you. I doubt traffic offense has anything to do with it.
