I got ITA yesterday but it says all supporting documents should reach before 60 days.

I am in USA right now and to get the police CC it takes around 3 months. I do not think I will be able to meet the deadline of 60 days.
Also I need to get the PCC from India.

I do not know whether to apply or decline this ITA.

Is there a solution to this scenario?

Thanks

You can submit PCC later once it is ready. Get indian PCC from indian embassy in USA.

I just read my ITA letter from CIC.

"You should immediately start gathering all the supporting documents and information you need to include on your
application so that you can submit your application within the 60-day deadline. Please note that some
documents, such as police certificates, may take some effort and time to acquire so begin gathering
these documents now."

If, at the 60-day deadline, any of the supporting documentation and information is missing and you do not have a
valid reason, your application will be rejected.

So, if FBI takes more time than 60 days then it is definitely a valid reason for delay from their side. As from applicant's perspective, all efforts should have been made to try getting the required documentation once ITA is received.

Also another question is about the ORI in the fingerprint form FD-258.

Do we have to leave it blank?

I went to the fingerprint store today and got the FD-258 filled out with fingerprints.
The guy at the store mentioned to me that it takes around 2 to 4 weeks for getting the PCC USA.

Regarding the Indian PCC, I had a question.
Do we have to send the original passport to the Indian embassy here in mail?

Thanks

Yes they need original passport for Indian PCC.

not sure if you are referring to third party agencies for getting the PCC done.

PCC stamp has to be on the passport and you will get a PCC letter also

You will receive a letter and an stamp on the passport.

Definitely not 2 to 4 weeks if you are talking about to get FBI PCC from FBI directly .... FBI received my application on Feb 25 and so far I still have not get the FBI PCC from them, so be prepared to wait for more than 3 months for FBI PCC.

I travelled out of India in august 2014 and continuing to remain outside the country from that time. In October I also got a India PCC from Indian embassy. In my case, since I never went back to India after getting the PCC, would the same PCC be a valid one to submit for EE. Will I be required to re-apply one more PCC now as I near the ITA. Can someone plz clarify.

As per the latest rules, your Indian PCC is still valid.

Thanks RoadtoCanada

Thanks for your inputs regarding validity of old PCC. However, could you please support your statement with reference where it states that old PCC still be used.
In my case, I lived in Germany in year 2003 and got my PCC in 2006. Later I never went back. Shall I require to get new PCC or still it be valid. Any reference from CIC?
Please advise.
