what is the process of India PCC at BLS international, how much time it will take.
Does Indian consulate send the request to passport office and then passport office ask for report from District Police.

How much time generally it take for whole process to complete.

How much time generally it take for whole process to complete.

The processing time per BLS is 3-4 weeks. Usually you get it in 2 weeks or thereabouts. BLS submits the passport to the Indian Consulate (Toronto). The Consulate reaches out to their offices in India. If your passport was issued recently (say in the past 2-3 years) there is a good chance of getting your PCC sooner as the police records are with the Passport authorities. Finally, changes in the address (your residence address mentioned in the application is different from the one in your passport) may increase the processing time. Subscribe to their courier service and you would have your passport delivered safely at your home by Fedex.
