Hi guys,

This is probably a very stupid question :), I'd appreciate if someone can confirm this.

If you've been living in Canada for the past 5 years and you'd like to apply for PR through the express entry option, are you still required to avail a Police Clearance Certificate (from India)?

Thanks

Anji

Assuming you've lived in India for 6 months or more since the age of 18, yes. You can apply at the Consulate General of India at Toronto.

You will need to get police certificates for you and each of your family members who are over 18. You must get one from each country or territory where you have spent six or more months since the age of 18.

Once you reach the above link then Click Ctrl + F & paste Police certificates in the box & then read for more info
