Hello BobbyB and other members.

I got the PCC from indian embassy from Netherland within a day...i was surprised...but they give me PCC from the date when i have renew my passport. i ask them and they told we can provide you only this pcc. if you want your PCC from india then you have wait for 3 months or more they are not sure about any time. i really don;t know what to do. can i apply PCC in local distt police in india SSP office if i will get that PCC from india..then i can attached with my file and i will also attached pcc from embassy. is that ok ?
Is that possible i can apply PCC in passport office in india while living here. where my previous passport was issue...or PCC from head of police will be OK..

Please advice ..........

Interesting. Anyway don't waste your time. Just do what you have to do to get it. Contact your relatives or anybody who can secure it for you from India.I am not in India and as such do not know much how to go about it. I would have thought that is why you have consulates and Embassies. At the least they should and could have guided you. Try and post this same issue on the Punjabi thread also. (The punjab de putar will definitely help you out). I am also sure that some Indian Nationals who see this thread will throw some light on the issue too.

Thanks for reply BOBBYB & Rupeshhari
The PCC i got from embassy is just like..below

Police clearance certificate
it is certified that there is no adverse information against Mr ( my name ) s/o /(father name), (D.O.B) for the period from (date they issue my sconed passport) to till today holder indian passport (number) and date of issue ..

Thats it. nothing else.. they just put date on the right hand of letter pad. that is today.

well ...i also going to put this thread on the punjabiss....is that possible i can arrange PCC from local Police head office in my area india...do you think its work..becuase i have seen many pepople they arrange PCC from their home land while living abroad....will berlin embassy accept that one?

It is possible. Man. I'd like to know what is not possible nowadays (apart from bringing back to life the passed away-- May their soul RIP). Sorry, on a more serious note, Yes, as an Indian you do need to provide a PCC if you have lived in India for more than 6 months since you attained the age of 18. Normally, the Consulates/Embassies of your country in your country of residence help in obtaining it but hmm....... You know what I mean. I think you will need to contact people who know people and who know... and then who know... and they will get it for you on your behalf.
