Police clearance certificate/confusion

I lived 4 years in England from 2010 to 2014.But from last 2 years am in my homeland permanently.Do I still need police certificate from England.I only have (police clearance certificate) from my honeland.Does
my own country police certificate will work?Am not a England citizenb.please help
