Hello,

If the application is currently living permanently out of Pakistan,
Do we need to get a police character certificate from Foreign Ministry of Pakistan or Can we just submit the one obtained from Local Police station in the vicinity of your old address in Pakistan?

Any help from others who have applied from Pakistan or Pakistani nationals who applied from out of Pakistan would be much appreciated.

Thanks

I got someone to complete the application and submit it in the local police station (hyderi Karachi thana in my case...there is an officer there who does it for lots of people. He guided my parents). some documents I remember submitting: my CNIC, parent's CNIC, CNIC copies of neighbours, educational doc, photo etc. Got it in few days. Also, submitted a signed application allowing my dad to collect it in my absence on my behalf.

Also, you can use the old PCC if it was issued AFTER you left Pakistan and never went back....otherwise you need another one.....this is my understanding

So you did not get any police certificate from Foreign Ministry?
or did you have to get that police certificate attested by Foreign Ministry?

And is your application for express entry still in queue or processed?
