Police certificates (police checks) question

Hi,
I've just got nominated and I'm checking what will I need for federal application. My concern is Police certificate - I have one from RCMP issued in 2011. I haven't been in Canada since 2010 (which means I haven't been in Canada after the certificate was issued)

question is - will this be accepted?

As stated on the website, you are not required to provide a PCC from Canada.
