I got invited to apply for my PR but with the current situation I am unable to obtain a police certificate from my past country of residence (Saudi Arabia). This is the only document missing from the list of required docs. I moved to CA a little over a year ago as a student and I'm currently working on a PGWP that is valid until December. I'd like to take your advice in terms of if this police certificate is still required - my residency status there is still valid - or if I should submit with a letter of explanation. I'm concerned that this would delay my PR application even further as my PGWP is only for 1 year.
