To my understanding, there is no need for a RCMP's proof of no crime record if you haven't visited a third country other than your home country and Canada, right? You just need to prepare a clearance from your home country in this case?

HI,

You need Police Clearance for every country/city where you lived for 6 months or more since you turned 18yrs old.

No you dont need for canadian police clearance as you are residing there.
