The IRCC instruction guide does not mention anything about the validity of the police ceritificates obtained for countries lived in for 183 days or more.
I got mine from my home country consulate in toronto 7 months ago and I am applying for citizenship now. And I have NOT travelled out of Canada since I got it.
Is that ok?
