Hi guys,

CIC states:

'For any other country, the police certificate must be issued after the last time you stayed there for 6 months or more in a row.

Some countries put expiry dates on their police certificates. If you have a police certificate that expired, include it. We’ll accept it if:
  • it was issued after the last time you stayed there for 6 months or more in a row
  • it is not for the country where you currently live
An officer may ask for a new one later on.

I am originally from Bangladesh, however I live and and work in New Zealand (PC from NZ would be easily obtained) from Feb 2017. From 2018-2020, I have visited Bangladesh for a period of around one month every year. The latest police certificate from Bangladesh I hav
e is from December 2019. There is no expiration date on the Police Certificate. Based upon what CIC states above (
'For any other country, the police certificate must be issued after the last time you stayed there for 6 months or more in a row'), I can use this PC if I receive an ITA in the coming months? Just to be on the safe side...
