Hi Everyone,
I moved to Canada from my home country at the age of 16 and I just recieved an ITA. I was told by a friend that I may not need a police certificate if I moved to canada as a minor. Wanted to know how true that is. I have not lived anywhere else for more than 6 months and I am currently above 21yo. I'm applying under CEC.

Thanks!

you dont need a PCC if you havent lived there for more than 6 months after your turned 18

Thanks! Do you know what I can put in place of the PCC slot to complete my application?

A letter of explanation why you dont have a PCC may be?

Thanks for that! I did visit my home country for a month though and I was 20 at the time. Just wanted to know whether that counts only as one month or if it's added to the previous 16 years I spent before moving to Canada.
