points for college certificate

Dear friends,

In order to increase my CRS points, i'm planning to take a part-time certificate program from Centennial college. I'm currently holding a WES recognized bachelor degree and does anyone know that after successfully completing the part-time course and getting a college certificate, my points will be increased??? (two or more post-secondary credentials with a post-secondary program of three years or longer).

I'm not sure after completing this part-time certificate program, CIC will recognize this as my second post-secondary credential. Can anyone here clarify???

Is the certificate course you are planning for goes in line with your educational degree and work experience? Otherwise it will not be useful.

Hi buddy,

I'm in IT and I have software engineering bachelor degree. Do you mean if I take any college certifcate programs other then IT, the points for more than 2 post secondary education would not be granted?

I don't understand.

Please help explain in detail.
