Point of Entry issue

Hello guys
I want to inquire about something. I got admitted in uni of Concordia Montreal, Quebec n got visa, my session is starting in September. I am planning to book a seat of August 2/3 n then first land in Toronto, Ontario. Then after spending a week or so with my uncle in Toronto, reach Montreal via train. Question is can i do that? Will IO allow me to enter in Ontario, provided that my university is in Quebec. I need your suggestions.

Just confirming, will the Officer not ask me that if your purpose is study in Canada then y r u visiting ur uncle?? :-\

Since you have trv you can land at any Canadian Airport regardless of quebec. Secondly, POE all you have to show them your LOA from school thats it. It is advisable if your uncle come to Airport to pick you up. Sometimes CBSF officer may ask where you are going to stay here. Thats it than the officer will ask you to wait for 2 minutes and after that they will give you your study permit and welcome you to Canada.
