I currently have around,
8130 CAD in Fixed Deposit (This is a sum of smaller FDs saved during the past 7-8 months)
1870 CAD in Recurring Deposit (Active RD, savings of current financial year, from March 2018 )
My sister is gifting me 2800 CAD by the end of Jan 2019 which I will convert to FD.
If I get a bank letter reflecting the above and a gift deed. Will it be accepted as proof of fund? I am worried because this money in it's entirety might not have been present in my account for 6 months.
Also, would you suggest that I dissolve all smaller FDs & RDs and create one combined FD.
