Hi all, not sure if this has been asked before. If you say that you have Proof of Funds (for eg $12,000 CAD), do you need to have:

1) This amount at the issue of ITA date? or is it ok to have it by the time you submit your application?

2) Also does the VO look to ensure you have more than $12,000 (eg $15,000) for safety? Or do they just look for the $12,000?

As on the date of submission of post ITA application. And it is up to you to convincingly prove that you have exclusive access to the funds and that they aren't borrowed from anywhere.

Just the required minimum. 11,931 CAD for a single applicant.
