POF for EE

Hi All

I am planning to re-submit my EE Application. Is there requirement to have bank statements up to date? Mine is 2 months old, is this ok or will rise a red flag? I am away from home, on a B trip.

You can download the bank statements online, can't you? I believe it may be a risk submitting 2 months old statement.

Hi,

First of all, you do not have to submit any bank statements in EE application. You would have to submit these with many other documents after you are invited to apply to PR. When they invite you, you will have 90 days to collect the required documents.

Of course, submitting recent statements is required. Do not submit old ones it will definitely raise a flag.

Wrong! You get 60 days to submit documents, not 90 days.

If you have a bank letter showing all the details required by CIC, then you don't need anything else as POF. I would still submit online bank statements supporting my funds. I don't think any bank stamp is required on bank statements.

When I submitted my application last year it was 90, yeah it is 60 now, I forgot.

If you read the requirements in this link, it says "be printed on the financial institution’s letterhead"

I am not saying that your suggestion will completely be rejected, however, why risking it if he still can get the printed stamped letter easily from the bank branch?
