Hi All,

I just came back from the bank (HSBC) and I had gone to them for the bank letter and all the info CIC requires post ITA. They agreed to give all the info expect the info about the average balance for the past 6 months.
They say that they do not give that and were like CIC can calculate that after seeing the 6 months bank statements that you are submitting.

is this ok? Did anyone have a similar experience?

This is not mandatory to have it on your bank certificate. 6 months bank statements are important along with bank certificate which mentions details of current available balance along with details of any FDs.

So each and every page of six month balance needs to be signed by the bank ? Also my bank's average balance report masks the account number except for last four digits. However my monthly statements have full account number. Can I explain this in loe?

Yes, every page of statements should be stamped and signed by the bank. Yes, you can explain this in LOE.
