Hi All,
My friend received stamped passport(study visa) and counterfoil details have been updated but I have not yet received a port of entry letter.

Is port of entry letter mandatory for anyone with study visa?

My friend is travelling to Canada this week. Any thoughts.

I've read that if for some reason you don't have the LOI, you should be OK because they already have that information in their system. I have absolutely no experience about this, but I've come across several posts that claim this...

Maybe someone who experienced it and travelled to Canada can chime in...
