POE: electronics, laptop and HDD

I have two questions about POE:-
1- Did they check if I bring electronics, laptop and HDD? if yes, did they opened the laptop or HDD if there is pirated software,movies, games, etc..?


2- Any one has experience from POE at Calgary International Airport ??

Yes, they can. They are usually only interested in child pornography.
