PNP vs LMIA

My employer has offered to apply for either PNP or LMIA. Can someone who has experience with either/both of these processes kindly advise which is the better option? What are the merits/drawbacks of each and which is easier/faster to obtain?

PLEASE help me. I'd appreciate it.

I heard that Ontario PNP EE isn't available at the moment.. I'm not sure if that information is still accurate or not.
