PNP Route - Estimated processing time pre-ITA

Hi fellas,

If one were to go through the PNP route, what is the current estimated time from applying for a PNP till you receive an ITA? I ask this since I've observed PNPs from 2015-16 being still in process.
I'm guessing that the introduction of online applications has helped speed the process considerably.

Secondly, which PNP streams are currently open, which ones have already closed and and which ones are yet to open and any guesses as to when each of these would be open? The context is 2017.

1. If I understand correctly you are only asking for PNP that are linked with EE. (only app. 25-30% of all PNP use EE). That would be maily Ontario, BC, NB, NS, SK.
Average nomination is somewhere between 3 to 9 months after application was received (Ontario was a bit extreme last year and they are trying to correct that approach now).
Of course in normal case (without PFL or too many ADR).

2. This is something changing every day. There really lot of different PNP streams, so the best advice is for you to check them one by one. If you see some stream that is maybe closed at the moment, but would be suitable for you, you can still search a bit more on forum to see when was that one opened last time and when.
