Thought of giving some advice...

When I was applying for my PR I was confused between CEC and PNP, but i went with CEC. All my friends went for PNP, Most of them got their MR in 3 month after applying it includes provincial nominee too....

So People thinking between PNP and CEC, go for PNP...I think its much faster...

I even feel the same, Most of the dec applicants for PNP almost got their PR's. Nothing is moving at all with CEC. Additionally, PNP doesnt need IELTS.

I think these things oscillate. PNP used to be a bit slower...you can still see people from March 2012 waiting. But since October of last year, PNP has really sped up with the complete process finishing in 6-7 months. There's no doubt that as of right now PNP is much much faster than CEC. But you can also see new changes in the CEC process with a few applicants in 2013 that are receiving faster processing. Maybe they expand that to all CEC applicants.

Doesnot make sense they should finish people from CEC 2012 first

I haven't really looked into the PNP. Is it similar to CEC when it comes to eligibility criteria?
