PNP nomination certificate valid for 6 months but MyCIC a/c give only 30 days to accept or decline nomination. So-
If someone is not able to accept or decline nomination for xyz reason, can he or she ask CIC or nominating province to send the acceptance nomination choice again?

As per Ontario Immigration rules you ll have to accept it in one month only.

If your application is approved by Ontario, you will receive a letter from OINP through your MyCIC account notifying you of your nomination. You have 30 days to accept the nomination from Ontario in the Express Entry system.
Nomination from Ontario will give you an additional 600 CRS points and you will receive an invitation to apply for permanent residency from CIC.
Once you receive an invitation to apply from CIC, you have 60 days to apply to CIC for permanent residency.
During the assessment of applications for permanent residency, CIC reviews applicants for admissibility, including health, security, and criminality checks as per Canada’s Immigration and Refugee Protection Act. CIC will also verify all information provided by applicants to register for Express Entry.

Yes since the Nomination certificate is valid for 6 months.
However, you would need a good reason IMHO except if your EE profile expired or became ineligible etc...

You will only get a 30 Day time to accept the 6 month valid nomination certificate. That's how it is.

Thanks for your thoughts everyone.

Do we know of any such case where CIC or Nominating province has sent the Nomination acceptance letter again after expiry of first 30 days?

There are no First 30 days. There are just 30 days. And no, no case yet and I doubt there will be any.

@One_Topsy So, you mean that if we have a strong reason, we can request that province to reissue the accept button in our cic account, if 30 days time period is expired?

That's not what i said. I said it is possible for the province to give you 600 points in another EE profile as long as you have valid nomination certificate.
For that to happen, you must have good reason like your EE profile expired or EE profile became ineligible due to language test expired and you have new one etc.
I don't know what your reasons would be for not accepting nomination within 30 days and if you can convince them to give you in another profile after that.

Thanks for the clarification !

Its 30 days to accept the Nomination in your profile, so that after you accept it does not show to other province etc to consider you.

Six month time is given to apply for PR. If you don’t accept ITA before the given six months, then the Nomination expires and then we need to go through the same process again

Hi All,

I have a query regarding validity of OINP score linked with my express entry profile.
Currently after getting nomination from OINP , applicant need to accept or decline nomination within 30 days. After accepting OINP nomination, applicant is sure to get ITA and need to submit documents to CIC within 60 days. Since I will be unable to submit my documents to express entry within 60 days .
Question:
1. After accepting OINP nomination, Please let me know if I should decline ITA?
2. After declining ITA , will my OINP score will be intact or will I loss my OINP score?
3. After accepting OINP nomination, For how much time my ONIP score will be valid?
4. For how much time I can keep on declining ITA?

Regards,
Vikas
