Am i correct in thinking, if you apply for PNP where you have a job offer, the job doesnt need a LMIA? e.g. i know they must still prove theres a shortage etc, but most cases a LMIA is not required?

cheers

Correct.

Does anyone here have any luck securing a job offer? It seems to me it is so hard because most companies don't want to sponsor. The only options are if you know someone who can help you...:(

Any ideas or suggestions on where to look for or how to secure a job offer?

Thanks.

Just checking that I am understanding this correctly.

I have an application for OINP in. I have received AOR and I now have 2 job offers but no LMIA.

I thought I was in a bit of a lose lose situation, but now I read this.

Do I need a LMIA to be able to start either of these jobs as I have OINP pending? If not, how do I go about starting work legally. I can't seem to apply for a work permit without a LMIA.

You do not need an LMIA to start work under question in Canada. However, as per your legal status, you should be authorized to work in Canada.

So how do I apply for a work permit without a LMIA to legally work?

What do you mean by 'work under question'?
