I need a repeat x ray and a sputum test to rule out tuberculosis. The sputum test takes eight weeks to culture.I already got the x-ray done but am not sure where to go for the sputum test.There are two physicians in the clinic where I went for my physicals.One is saying to go to the health department (TB clinic) and the other one is saying that I can go to any diagnostics lab.Please help.Where shud I go for the test.Thanks a lot.
