Hi,
I don't you will have a problem with cash at Pakistani airport.
You better to call local authority and check with them or visit the custom website. http://www.pakcustoms.org/index.htm

hope that helps,

donno about Pakistan but do declare that at the POE.

get a print out of proof of landing funds for Canada!! if they will ask u about that if ur carrying funds with u...say yes and show them everything!!

Pakistani law allows you to carry maximum $10,000 per person in cash to take out of the country. If you are two people split the cash but if you are single take $10,000 cash with you and rest make a bank draft.. The customs rarely ask how much cash you are carrying and I have never seen any body encountered a problem with that issue.

Thanks

You are not a professional Money Launderer so there shouldnt be any problem.
$11K is much less than what People take into Canada; so don't worry.

cocknbull u betta watch it!
i have landed in canada. nd thr has been no problem in carrying the cash in pakistan nor in canada.
but wht u r suggesting can really creat a problem for people. neva lie at airports or it can get u in deep *censored word*.
nd dont hide. tell them anything they ask with a logical xplaination.
i hope u dont mislead ppl in future.

You are lucky if they didn't ask you at a Pakistani airport. There is a limit imposed by govt of Pakistan to carry maximum $10,000 per person in cash. If you don't believe me ask any official of customs of Pakistan and he will tell you. I am really surprised to see your harsh response while I was just trying to help you and check my above post again I told you they rarely ask in Pakistan and I have never seen any body encountered a problem with that issue. Really surprised when some one tries to help any one and it goes just opposite. Check jnathan's reply what he suggested you.

You are lucky you got away with Pakistani authorities and next time if you are leaving Pakistan with more than $10,000 better be careful and carry the excess amount in form of bank draft to not to get caught.
