Hi,

i am confused regarding my skilled worker immigration case. can anyone help me plz.

Today i have got an email from Canada embassy, London about sending the passports for visa stamping with in 60 days (uptil 30th august 2011). My last medicals were done including family on 19th of August 2010. Now, my question is if i submit the passports after the 19th of august 2011 (passing my last years medical date), do i get the 1 year visa? do they ask me to go for medicals again?
And if i sybmit the passports before 19th of august 2011 how much visa i have been issued? do i must travel before this date because my medicals will expire on this date.

As most of the people know, visa issued uptill the date of medicals expiry date. In my case, what should i do? i wanted to travel in december 2011 & i dont want to go medicals again (3rd time)

thanks in advance in answering.

You have no other option left. You have to send your PPs ASAP to avoid expiry of medicals otherwise you have to undergo med one more time. There is no exception for this rule. Please do keep in mind that 19th August 2011 is that date BEFORE which you and your family should land in Canada ,otherwise your PR will be expired and cannot be renewed so you should be submitting your PPs ASAP if you want to avoid meds for one more time.
But why do you want to delay your landing?

In my view you should land before expiry of your meds for a few days(or even 1-2 days), come back after completing the landing formalities and move again whenever you want to.

Hope it helps

Thanks for replying,

my problem is my family will come from back on 16th of july so i cant submit the passports before that date. And i dont want to go so early, so thinking of geting some time and travel in near december time?

thanks

Well brother,
You could submit PPs after 16th July and request London to stamp your PPs quickly so that you could land before your meds expiry. They would certainly respond as they have always, incase of many applicants e.g read posts of "Canadaday2011" at the same forum whose PP was stamped within a week as his meds were expiring soon.

Where are you located are you in UK or Middle East?

no choice here...u ve to do as they ve requested or they will take a neg decision...
