NOW THE PROBLEM IS PASSPORT MACHINE IN MY EMBASSY HAS BEEN OUT OF SERVICE FOR SOME TIME NOW...I CALLED THEM AND I AM TRAVELLING TO OTTAWA TOMORROW TO GET A LETTER FROM THE CONSULATE EXPLAINING WHY I CANT BE ISSUED PASSPORT.

I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE EVER SEEN A SETUATION WHERE SOMEONE WAS LANDED WITHOUT PASSPORT.

nope, as far as I know you can't enter a country without a passport, whether you're a citizen of the country or not

I take it you're in Canada already, so you're not "entering the country", hence you don't need the passport, just any other valid ID.

Otherwise you'll be deported at the gate

YES I AM ALREADY IN CANADA A SECOND LETTER THAT CAME WITH IT STATED THAT IF THE EMBASSY CANT ISSUE ME A PASSPORT I SHOULD GET A DETAILED LETTER FROM THE EMBASSY EXPLAINING WHY THEY COULDNT ISSUE ME PASSPORT

Passport is listed as one of the required documents for the process. It clearly says to make sure your passport will be valid.

I would think the embassy might be able to issue you some kind of temporary travel document that might suffice. Otherwise possibly they can issue one at another embassy and send it across?

well I meant for your trip to Ottawa.

You must wait 'til you get your passport from the embassy, or you could contact your country of origin see if they can issue one for you and courier it.

At my landing Inland, one of the people in front of me did not have a valid passport. They were refused and sent away.

You NEED a passport to land....period....whether a letter from your embassy will surface, I have no idea. Check with CIC call center.
