hello,
i want to go canada for my sex change opertion, please guide me the proces from the very first step.
waiting for ur rply

Well, I believe the first step involves counselling of some sort. After that, they use a scalpel to slice off your ... :D

Sorry, but I couldn't resist! You did, after all, ask about the "process"!

In all seriousness, are you seeking to come to Canada only to have the procedure(s) performed, or on a more permanent basis? If you only want to come for the operation itself, there are a myriad of factors that can play a role in how to make your intent a reality, such as:
1) your nationality
2) whether or not you're visa-exempt
3) whether you already have a particular medical facility and or doctor in mind
4) whether you have the funds needed to pay for the procedure as well as to pay for living expenses before the actual operation (I'm sure a substantial amount of pre-procedural psychological evaluation/counselling, hormone treatments, etc will be required) and during the post-op recovery period. I'm not sure but I imagine that there will likely also be long-term (possibly even life-long) "maintenance" required, such as injections and/or other medications.
5) etc.

My point is that there's simply no way to answer your question without a lot more background information and specifics about your current situation/status and your intents/desires for the future.

I wish you the best of luck in your endeavours!

I heard Thiland is among the best countries for this kind of operation, and its cheaper too.

As far as I know, there is only one clinic in Canada that is performing these operations. They are considered fairly good and have been doing it for years. This is their website: http://www.grsmontreal.com/

You should talk to them about what you need but I am sure you will at least need to be in good health, have letters from 2 psychiatrists confirming your diagnosis as a transsexual as well as a truckload of money to pay for the operation.

Like newtone said, you can look into Thailand as well. They are cheaper for sure.

thanks alot guys for ur rply, but tht means i hve to wait so long for my correction because i dont have enough money yet :(
and yeah i want to settle thier permanently

Well, there is no special immigration program based on being transsexual that I know of so you will have to qualify to immigrate by some other means. Have a look at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/index.asp to find if there is an immigration class you qualify under.

Some provinces pay for gender reassignment surgeries so if you manage to immigrate, it might be wise to look into that before you decide where you settle.
