I got the visa on 26 of June. But when I unpacked the package, besides the materials, I only got my passport with Canada visa stamp(S-1), and a paper on "IMPORTANT NOTICE" but NO LETTER OF INTRODUCTION! Oh, what should I do? Should I mail the Embassy? How can I get it? The letter is necessary at the Port of Entry for getting Study Permit, right? Please help, I am rathar anxious. :( :'(

A thousand thanks.

with the important notice, it should be mentioned that you are supposed to receive the LOI by email.

its a MUST.

but dont panic.... just email them, they will reply with the LOI.

congrats !

I thank you! But I haven't got any emails from them...so I should mail the Embassy in my country, right?

I have checked the spam folder and got nothing. Is it possible that I wrote a wrong Email address? Anyway, I will write to the Embassy and see what I get. Oh you are so kind! I am much obliged to you!

Is LOI something different ...does it contains the Heading LOI; I received a letter with passport but don't know if its LOI . Its written to show this letter to Canada Border Services Officer upon arrival ???

dont worry james... just email through webmail, and you will get by email.

well you don't have to panic about it... you have got the visa on your passport... i would suggest you carry your unconditonal letter from college with you... you will recieve your study permit at the port ( it's kinda page they give you which states your purpose of visit and states the duration of stay which is based on lenght of study)... i had no letter with me... but yet just had to convince the Immigartion offcier and i was good to go... it took me barely 2 mins... so don't panic about it...

Cheers!

Thanks, mate! It's most probable that I can get the study permit without the letter according to your experience! However, I still have a month left. So it would be better to get everything ready!

A thousand thanks!

Yes, I have already sent a mail to the Embassy stating that I didn't get the letter. But no reply yet. I am going to my local Canada Visa Application Center today to see if i can get sth.

I am feeling much better now! A thousand thanks!

Tomsware, one more infomation: I am going to Canada to attend *senior three*, not *university*. does that make a difference? I mean, i just heard a consultant said senior students do not need the LOI. Is that true?

Thanks!
