Hi member,

I am sorry that my question is a bit out of the subject but i really need help with this and hope you have any info about this issue.

I got my BOWP and gave my employer a letter of resignation effective May 30.. I have a lease till November 30 and geve my landlord a letter of lease breaking coz i want to go back home for awhile and not planning to come back to this town.. the landlord seems like ignoring my request etc. Is there any way i can get out of this without issues or penalty ?

Just find some people who can take your lease i,e transfer lease on his name

Thank you Swathi for the prompt answer.. it is really hard to find coz this town is too small

Then you have to talk to your landlord and come to an agreement. Let's say you have 6 months left on lease, offer him something like two months rent. He'll have some time to find a new tenant then and if he does so quickly it might make him something extra.

In the end a contract is a contract and if you wish to change it the other party should agree to it.
