Hello all,

i have a situation here.and i need some valuable suggestion/best course of action to be taken.

i came to Canada as student Sep 2009.got my open work permit from sep 2010 to sep 2011.

Due to some personal reasons i didn't do any job , worked on cash all time , thought of going back home after my open work permit ends.

but again, situation made me to stay here in Canada and
i got a job and extended my stay as a worker on closed work permit from Dec 2011 through Dec 2013.(2 years)

but, since my employer didn't get enough projects, he paid me only for 9 months and , i got paid less than what he mentioned in my LMO.(got paid for only $43,000 but in my Lmo it is 68,000)

now, i got laid off and looking for another job.

under these circumstances, i am getting married in may 2013(note:my closed work permit with this employer ends by Dec 2013).

now my question is, can i apply for less salary jobs(which i am getting job offers now), what will be the success ratio for my new lmo

how can i bring my wife here in Canada, as by the time we got married, i will be holding only 6-1/2 months work permit left.

what are my immigration chances to stay permanently in Canada.

please advice to over come this confusing situation.

hi
pl ask our respected captain Qorax on his thread

I would suggest you contact David Cohen, the owner of this canadavisa.com. He is a lawyer and would be able to advise you since there may be some legal things involved.

But may be someone in this forum can advise some solution. I am not aware of such a case. Index Qorax in your message. He can reply and suggest something.

One more thing, to my knowledge, if you have paid EI while employed, you can apply for Employment Insurance benefits if you are laid off. I also know that you can stay in Canada as long as your work permit is valid, but cannot work since you have closed work permit to work for a specific employer. You can start looking for jobs and they can help you get LMO. Technical advice can be given through a legal agent which I already suggested you talk to, David Cohen.

Hi Qorax,

I had submitted my passports to CHC Canada in Dec 2012 and subsequently they have asked for FBI clearance certificate on 8th Feb, 2013. The same has been submitted within due date 25th March2013. Till then I did not hear from them. Kindly advise wht to do.

Thanks
