I am not able to get the transcripts from university. My consultant is not sending my documents without transcripts. I have read in this forum that transcripts are not that necessary for delhi office. Consultant says my application will be rejected without transcripts. What should I do now...I am very frustrated after working very hard to collect all the documents I am stuck with transcripts now. pls help.

I was in a similar situation. No problem. Go to ur university or college and take a letter on their letter pad that trancripts were issued earlier and there is no provision to issue another one. Next remove colour photo copies of the transcripts u have with u and get it notarised and send it along. This will solve ur problem. I did the same and it worked out fine.

Hi Satwant,

From your post I understand that you don't have your originals of marksheet of college with u?

I am right?

I have the originals with me, but CHC requires the transcripts that are sealed by the university.

Now I am scared ???

I am planning to file my papers under 1122 in coming week. I thought, I have to send notarised marksheets. do I need to send marksheets sealed by university?

Transcripts are not the original mark sheets. University verifies your qualifications and make the transcripts in their own format and seal them. This seal can only be opened by visa office. If it is opened by other person or tampered with, it is invalid. CHC asks for this because there has been lot of frauds these days with people getting fake certificates. So, to avoid the botheration of checking with the university, CHC asks for transcripts. If the transcripts are not provided then it depends on the discretion of visa officer.

Though from this forum, I have come to know that CHC Delhi does not insist on transcripts, but it is on the checklist.

I am also getting nervous about this issue.

Thanks satwant08

Could u please provide me with the link to checklist?

Thanks in advance.

Transcripts are mandatory in N/Delhi V/O there might me one or two cases came out without that. but every one has to submit to VO and again it is on their discreation if someone failed to submit it.

In my case, my wife is primary applicant and she has two degrees. One regular postgraduate degree and one correspondence post graduate degree. I have got her regular postgraduate degree transcript, but could not get the correspondence degree transcript. I have been unable to get my graduation transcripts from Punjab university. Now will it be okay if I only send one postgraduate degree transcript of my wife only. Will the V/O ask for my graduation transcript...pls suggest.

but fma I am in my first stage where I am sending my application to sidney. Do I need to send transcripts along with my application to sidney? My consultant is saying that students needs to send this. We only have to send the notarised marksheets.

Should I dump that consultant?

Dear Sati

Transcripts need to send VO and not to N/S sydney. in first stage u can send notarized copies of ur certificates if they satisfied with ur points they will give u file no. then u have to submit all documents in proper manner along with transcripts. pls recheck with ur consultant.

fma, do u have a link to that page which states the documents required to be send to sydney.

I have a link to the page which states the documents be send to VO.

OR

are these both links same?
