Hi Everyone,

I have been going through the post and realized many people are being aided from the forum. I have few queries, Appreciate if anyone can reply me for the same as well.

1-I am Pakistani national living in Dubai with parents for 30 years and i am getting married to my husband (Canadian National) in Dubai in few months. I have never been to Canada earlier and my brother also lives in Canada (Work Permit). I tried for visit and got rejected due to travel history and personal financial assets My questions are;

1- Can i get tourist Visa to see my husband after he applies for my PR or i have to wait for a year as UAE Visa Office takes 14 months for processing Family Sponsorship?

2- At the time of applying tourist (TRV). Should i be working to show them (Employment Certificate) that i will come back after visiting him?

3- Anyone has an experience if they got tourist and what duration is it? Single or Multi?

I look forward hearing from you ::)

TIA

You can apply for a visitor visa, but they are difficult to get when one has a Canadian spouse.
To get a TRV (a visitor visa) you have to show proof that you will leave Canada before the visa expires. So having a job is a big help: get a letter from your boss giving you a certain amount of time off, and stating that you are expected back. Other proof can be a lease, mortgage, or proof of home ownership; bank accounts; investments; enrollment in school; family members in Dubai; anything that will help show you will leave Canada.
You can also show a return ticket with a specific date, and a plan showing what you are going to be doing in Canada during your visit.

I have my bank account i was working earlier...so having a job n employment letter can be of help... thanks dear...

Anyone experienced similar situation?

If anyone has applied from UAE the spouse PR usually how many months does that take?
