pls Help - reg Service Letter format

Hi,

I am to get the service letter drafted by the HR department. Their usual format is to draft it as a set of paragraphs. But what we need is, the duties under each designation (with period).

Please provide your input for the following 2 queries.

1)

Under each designation, the duties I performed has to be drafted. Should these be written in the form of a list of duties or as a para? How have you all done it ?

2)

How should the designations be ordered. Should the most recent one come first or last. if the most reason comes last of course, it shows career progress. I am under 0213

Ruka in my case the duties are arranged in points and not para
The last one is at top and the oldest one is at bottom
