Pls help - no job descriptions affidavit accepted ??

Hi

We have a BIG problem as my boyfriends company merged 3 times and all the bosses and staff have left. And no-one from the present people (neither HR or Boss) is willing to confirm his job duties he did before the last merge. Also there was a mess with the merges and no files have been kept!!! We only have the contracts containing job title and salary but no job descriptions. But he knows what he did the last 11 years and its what the NOC says but he cant proof it. His current boss (he had for 1 year) may confirm the past year if he's not mad with him for leaving.
Would it be possible for my boyfriend to make a affidavit/ statutory declaration confirming what he did the last 11 years??

this is a real problem; some cases exist where there is no possibility to get detailed job description eg due to multiple mergers or corporate policy.

The question to seniors is: is a letter from the company stating they dont give reference + affidavit of job description enough to meet the work experience requirement?

Check the instruction guide. Doesn't it state if you are unable to get a reference letter of job duties you should provide a letter explaining the reason and provide as much documentation as you have - pay slips, contracts, etc. and include a description of your duties?
