Hi Sandhu,

PCC is country specific. So if she lived in INDIA before marriage, Graduation and PG and currently with you (Bombay) would require ONLY PCC and you could get it from Bombay...since that is her current place of residence.

For the time period she stayed with you in Ghana would require a PCC from Ghana.

Two PCC for your spouse - Indian and Ghana. Contact your local Police stn/ Passport office for Indian PCC

I beg to differ on that. Although the CIC website now says PCC is country specific but I think it varies from country to country and visa office. I remember London visa office asked to submit police clearance from all cities where one has lived for more than 6 months since reaching the age of 18. This is for Pakistani applicants and recently people who have been asked to provide additional documents have been requested PCC from all cities of Pakistan they have lived for more than 6 months since reaching the age of 18. I don't know about India or other countries. Its better to check with your visa office I suppose. Thanks

Yes, I agree....If VO would require PCC from a particular state (as in Pakistan...now for current applicants and as mentioned by you) then the applicant would be asked specifically for it...like for example for USA, the applicant is supposed to send just the FBI report (even though the applicant has stayed in different states for over 6 months/post 18yrs of age) to VO and if required then specific STATE PCC might be requested by the VO.

Currently for India, only one INDIAN PCC is required. Appreciate your current information on Pakistani applicants....+1 ;D

Second Mitali's statement....Indian PCC is one for all states/Cities.
